Sunday, June 16, 2024 – Reading Pops Orchestra Annual Fathers’ Day and Juneteenth Celebration Concert – 3:00 PM – Green Valley Chateau Tent
Join us for our annual free concert celebrating Fathers’ Day and Juneteenth! The Pops has been celebrating fathers since the founding of the orchestra with our traditional Pops concert on Fathers’ Day.
The newest US national holiday of Juneteenth commemorates the day the message of the Emancipation Proclamation, issued on January 1, 1863, finally was verbally delivered in Texas, June 19, 1866, and the last enslaved people were released. Celebrations of the emancipation began that day, and grew over the years in communities across the South, eventually spreading to other parts of the country.

Sunday, August 4, 2024 – Reading Pops Orchestra Concert in the Park – 6:30 PM – Wyomissing Stone House
Join us in the park on the grounds of the Wyomissing Stone House for a free outdoor concert. Whether you are near the Stone House or view the concert from across the water, this concert is a favorite.
